
Rules of Play
1 - Point Scoring
1.1 A 'spot-on', where the participant has guessed the correct score, warrants 3 'points for'. Guessing the correct outcome warrants 1 'point for'.
1.2 In a league situation, players will compete against each other. The person who earns the most points from the 10 game week is deemed the winner and recieves 3 points. In the event of a tie on 'points for', each participant will recieve 1 point. The player with the most points at the end of the season is deemed the outright winner.
1.3 In a European Tournament, the winner will be deemed the participant with the greatest number of 'points for'.
2 - Payment
2.1 The cost of a GTS event will be determined and advertised before the beginning of the event. This fee must be payed in full before the date deemed as the deadline by Guess The Score officials. Failure to comply with these payment procedures may result in disqualification or a deduction of points.
2.2 Prizemoney will be decided before the beginning of an event.
3 - Predictions
3.1 All predictions must be personal and individual.
3.2 Predictions taken directly for external sources are not premitted.
3.3 Predictions must be submitted before the deadline on a given week.
3.4 Participants must not seek out other participants scores before the deadline has elapsed.
3.5 All predictions will be posted online and are freely available.
3.6 Failure to comply with any of these procedures may result in disqualification or a deduction of points.
4. - Company
4.1 Guess The Score is a non-profit organisation which will be hereafter known as 'Guess The Score'.
5. - Disqualification, Cancellation, Abandonment
5.1 Guess The Score holds the right to disqualify any member who does not reach what is deemed to be acceptable standards.
5.2 Guess The Score holds the right to cancel/abandon a game/week at any time.
